Brand campaign links and the unsubscribe header with a domain you control
If your workspace has a verified tracking domain, campaigns can use it instead of the standard host.
Every tracked campaign email carries a few links that point back at Laureo: the click redirect behind each link in your body, the open pixel, the unsubscribe link in the footer, and the one-click unsubscribe header that inbox providers use for their own Unsubscribe button. By default those all sit on a standard shared host. If your workspace has verified its own tracking domain, campaigns build all of them on that domain instead, so a recipient who hovers a link sees a host that belongs to you.
Nothing else changes. The links do the same thing, opens and clicks are still recorded the same way, and the unsubscribe flow is identical. Only the host in front of them is different.
One checkbox in the Review step, on unless you turn it off.
Open the Review step of the campaign composer and find the Tracking & category panel. The checkbox is Use your own tracking domain, and its note reads: Tracked links and the unsubscribe header use the domain set up in your workspace settings. If none is set up, links use the standard host and tracking still works.
It is one organization-wide setting, not something you configure per campaign.
The domain lives at Settings → Cold Outreach → Custom tracking domain. It is a subdomain you control, pointed at Laureo with a DNS record and then verified. One domain serves the whole organization, and only an organization-wide outreach admin can change it; everyone else sees the same card read-only. Once it is verified there, campaigns start using it with no further setup. The full step-by-step is in Domain Setup.
Campaigns fall back to the standard host and keep sending.
A missing domain, a domain that has not finished verifying, or a lookup that fails all lead to the same place: the campaign uses the standard host, tracking stays exactly as you configured it, and the send goes out normally. The same fallback applies if the stored value is not a plain hostname when the email is built. A tracking-domain problem can never hold up a campaign or turn tracking off.
The host is decided once, when the campaign starts sending.
The moment a campaign starts sending, Laureo works out which host it should use and records it on the campaign. Every message from that point on uses the recorded host: the first batch, later batches, and every follow-up stage. That is what keeps one conversation consistent, so a recipient never sees one host on the original email and a different one on the reply that follows it. It applies to all three ways a campaign starts: sending it right away, a scheduled campaign reaching its send time, and an automation launching it.
Keep the DNS record published, and the links already in people's inboxes keep working.
Removing a tracking domain retires it rather than deleting it, and the daily re-check marks it as failed if the DNS record stops resolving. In both cases a campaign that had already recorded that host carries on using it for the rest of its run, so the one action that matters is to leave the CNAME record published. That is exactly why removing a domain is a retire and not a delete: the links already sitting in people's inboxes, including the one-click unsubscribe, resolve through that record and must keep working.
Setting a domain up is a plan feature. Serving links from one is not.
Adding, verifying, retiring, or replacing a tracking domain is a plan feature, and the pricing page lists the plans it is included on. Once a domain is verified it keeps serving links on every plan: if your plan changes later, campaigns carry on using the host they recorded and the one-click unsubscribe header keeps pointing at the same place. Only the ability to change the setup follows the plan.
