Win-Loss Analysis
Analyze why deals are won or lost to improve your sales process.
The Win-Loss Analysis page provides a dedicated view into your closed opportunities. It breaks down won and lost deals by source, owner, stage duration, and other factors to help you understand what drives success and where deals fall through.
Key Metrics
- Win Rate — Percentage of closed opportunities that were won. Calculated as deals won divided by total closed deals (won + lost).
- Average Deal Value — Mean value of won deals in the selected period.
- Average Sales Cycle — Average number of days from opportunity creation to close for won deals.
- Loss Reasons — Breakdown of reasons recorded when deals are marked as lost, showing the most common factors.
Pipeline Conversion Metrics
Track how deals convert through each stage of your pipeline.
Pipeline conversion metrics show the drop-off rate between each stage. For each stage in your pipeline, you can see how many opportunities entered the stage, how many advanced to the next stage, and what percentage converted. This helps you identify the stages where deals are most likely to stall or be lost.
Conversion Breakdown
- Stage-to-stage conversion — Percentage of deals that move from one stage to the next.
- Stage duration — Average time deals spend in each stage before advancing or closing.
- Drop-off points — Stages with the highest loss rates, highlighted to draw attention.
- Overall funnel efficiency — End-to-end conversion rate from first stage to won.
Date Range Selection
Control the time period for your analysis.
Both the win-loss analysis and pipeline conversion views support date range selection. Use the date picker at the top of the page to set a custom start and end date, or choose from preset ranges:
- This Week — Monday through today.
- This Month — First day of the current month through today.
- This Quarter — First day of the current quarter through today.
- This Year — January 1 through today.
- Last 30 / 60 / 90 Days — Rolling window from today.
- Custom — Manually select any start and end date.
