Set your personal defaults for how My Work opens — default scope, which date sections start expanded, the auto-surfaced lanes, and your keyboard snooze default.
Tune how My Work opens from a slide-in panel on the page, or from a full settings page.
My Work preferences control how your prioritized scroll opens for you every time you land on it — which lens it starts on, which date sections are already expanded, whether the auto-surfaced Needs you and Needs linking lanes appear, and which preset your keyboard snooze reaches for. You can reach these preferences two ways, and they always show the same values:
What My Work opens to when you land on it.
My Work groups everything you have to do into four date sections — Overdue, Today, Upcoming, and Anytime. These settings decide which lens the page opens on and which of those sections start expanded on a fresh load.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Default scope | Which lens My Work opens on — Mine or Team. This only applies if your role lets you view your team’s work; reps always open on their own work and view-only members always see the team’s, so the control is hidden for them. |
| Overdue — start expanded | Whether the Overdue section is open when My Work first loads. |
| Today — start expanded | Whether the Today section is open when My Work first loads. |
| Upcoming — start expanded | Whether the Upcoming section is open when My Work first loads. |
| Anytime — start expanded | Whether the Anytime section (undated tasks and follow-ups) is open when My Work first loads. |
Show or hide the auto-surfaced lanes above your date buckets.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Show “Needs you” | Show the action-required lane that surfaces items waiting on you above the date sections. When it’s off, those items still live in the bell and in Notifications — hiding the lane only removes it from this page, it never drops or silences the underlying alerts. |
| Show “Needs linking” | Show the orphan-recordings nudge lane above your date sections — a prompt to link call recordings that aren’t yet attached to a record. |
The default the keyboard snooze reaches for.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Default snooze | Which preset the keyboard “s” quick-snooze uses when you snooze a row: Tomorrow, This evening, This weekend, or Next week. You can still pick any preset from the row’s snooze menu — this just sets the one-key default. This section is hidden for view-only members, who can’t snooze. |
Task reminders live on their own settings page — My Work just points at them.
The last section of the panel isn't a set of My Work defaults — it's a shortcut to settings that live elsewhere, so you don't have to hunt for them:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Task reminders & notifications | Your assigned-to-you, due-soon, comment, and completion alerts. “Manage in Notifications” opens your Notification settings, where these toggles live — this panel doesn’t change them itself. |
Changes save themselves and follow you across devices.
There is no save button. Every change you make saves the moment you make it, and a brief Saved indicator confirms it (you may see a quick Saving…first). Because the panel and the settings page read and write the same preferences, a change in one shows up in the other right away — and because they are stored on your account rather than in the browser, they follow you to any device you sign in on.
