Product Catalog

Browse, filter, and manage your product catalog

List View

The product catalog gives you a centralized view of everything you sell.

The products page displays your entire catalog in a sortable, filterable table. Each row provides key details at a glance so you can quickly find a product, check its pricing, or verify its status before adding it to a quote or invoice.

Columns

Information displayed for each product in the catalog.

  • Name — Product name shown with an avatar and truncated description.
  • SKU — Stock keeping unit or internal product code.
  • Category — The category the product belongs to.
  • Type — A badge indicating the pricing model: One-time, Recurring, or Usage-based.
  • Price — Formatted unit price. For recurring products, the billing period is displayed alongside the price (e.g., $49.00/month).
  • Status — Whether the product is Active or Inactive.
  • Created — The date the product was added to the catalog.

Search

Find products quickly using the search bar.

The search bar at the top of the product list searches across multiple fields simultaneously. Start typing to filter results in real time. The search matches against:

  • Product name
  • Description
  • SKU

Filters

Narrow down the product list using filters.

Available Filters

  • Product Type — Filter by One-time, Recurring, or Usage-based pricing model.
  • Active Status — Filter by Active or Inactive products.
Combine filters with search
You can apply filters and search at the same time. For example, search for "enterprise" while filtering by Type = Recurring to find only your recurring enterprise products.

Sorting

Change the order of products in the list.

Click any sortable column header to sort the list. Click again to toggle between ascending and descending order. The following sort options are available:

  • Created Date — Sort by when the product was added (default, newest first).
  • Name — Sort alphabetically by product name.
  • Price — Sort by unit price, lowest to highest or vice versa.
  • Type — Sort by pricing model type.

Product Types

Understanding the three pricing models available for products.

One-time

A single-purchase product or service. The customer pays once and there is no recurring charge. Examples include implementation fees, one-time setup costs, or physical goods.

Recurring

A subscription-based product billed on a regular cycle. When you select Recurring, you also specify a billing period: monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual. The price displayed in the catalog reflects the per-period cost.

Usage-based

A product priced by consumption. The unit price represents the cost per unit of measure (e.g., per API call, per GB, per hour). The total is calculated when added to a quote or invoice based on the quantity specified.

Product Detail Page

View complete information about a single product.

Click on any product in the list to open its detail page. The detail view shows all product fields including pricing information, tax configuration, and margin calculations. Key details on the product page include:

  • All catalog fields — Name, SKU, description, type, pricing, status, and category.
  • Cost Price — Your internal cost for the product, used to calculate margins.
  • Margin % — Automatically calculated from unit price and cost price.
  • Tax configuration — Tax class, tax rate, and currency settings.
  • Pricing Tiers — A table of volume-based pricing tiers, if configured.
  • Unit of Measure — The unit used for quantity calculations (e.g., hours, licenses, units).
Margin calculation
The margin percentage is calculated automatically as ((Unit Price - Cost Price) / Unit Price) x 100. If no cost price is set, the margin field will not be displayed.
