Account Setup & Team

Set up your account, configure your profile, and invite team members

Welcome to Your CRM

Thank you for choosing our CRM. This guide walks you through the essential first steps to get your account configured, your profile set up, and your team onboarded. In just a few minutes you will be ready to start managing companies, people, and opportunities.

Getting Started

Follow these steps to go from sign-up to your first pipeline in minutes.

1

Sign up and verify your email

Create your account at the sign-up page. You will receive a verification email — click the confirmation link to activate your account. If you were invited by a teammate, accept the invitation from your inbox and set your password.

2

Complete your profile

Navigate to Settings → Profile and fill in your full name and upload a profile avatar. Your profile photo appears on activities, comments, and assignments throughout the CRM, so adding one helps your team identify interactions at a glance.

3

Invite team members

If you are an Admin, go to Admin → Users and click Invite User. Enter each team member's email address and assign them a role (Admin, Manager, or Sales). They will receive an invitation email with a link to join your organization.

4

Configure your first pipeline

Head to Admin → Pipelines to set up your sales pipeline. A default pipeline with standard stages (Lead, Qualified, Proposal, Negotiation, Closed Won, Closed Lost) is created automatically. Rename stages, reorder them, or add new ones to match your sales process.

5

Start adding companies

Navigate to Companies in the sidebar and click Add Company to create your first record. You can also bulk-import companies from a CSV file — see the Importing Your Data guide for details.

Profile Fields

These fields make up your user profile. Some are set during signup or by an admin.

FieldDescription
Full Name*Your display name shown across the CRM on activities, comments, and assignments.
EmailYour login email address. This is set during signup and cannot be changed.
RoleYour permission level within the organization. Assigned by an admin — cannot be self-changed.

User Roles

Each user is assigned one of three roles that control what they can see and do.

Admin

Full access to every feature in the CRM. Admins can manage users, configure organization-wide settings, create and modify pipelines, set up custom fields, manage integrations, and access all records regardless of assignment. There should be at least one Admin in every organization.

Manager

Team oversight capabilities on top of standard access. Managers can view reports across the team, perform bulk operations such as imports and exports, reassign records between users, and access the leaderboard. Managers cannot manage users or modify organization-level settings.

Sales

Standard access scoped to day-to-day selling. Sales users can view and manage records assigned to them, create and log activities, manage their personal pipeline, and update their own profile settings. They do not have access to admin panels, bulk imports, or organization-wide reports.

Set up your email signature early
Before sending your first email through the CRM, visit Settings → Email Signature to configure your signature. Every email sent from the CRM will include it automatically, so getting it right from the start saves you from having to update sent messages later.
