Set how the Payment Analytics dashboard opens for you — default time range, prior-period comparison, and which analytic panels appear.
Tune how the Payment Analytics dashboard opens from a slide-in panel on the page, or from a full settings page.
Analytics preferences control how the Payment Analytics dashboard opens for you every time you land on it — the time range it starts on, whether it shows a period-over-period comparison, and which of the analytic panels appear. You can reach these preferences two ways, and they always show the same values:
What the analytics dashboard opens to when you land on it.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Default time range | The period the dashboard opens on: Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, Month to date, Quarter to date, Year to date, or Last 12 months. You can still switch ranges on the page at any time — this just decides where it starts, instead of resetting every visit. |
| Show prior-period comparison | Display the previous period alongside revenue for a period-over-period read. Turn it off to show current-period figures only. |
Choose which analytic panels appear on the dashboard.
The dashboard renders a stack of analytic panels over a single set of figures. Hiding a panel simply removes it from yourview — an accounts-receivable user and a quote-funnel user can each keep only the panels they care about. Toggle any of these on or off:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Visible panels | Show or hide each analytic panel individually: Revenue trend, Quote win rate, DSO trend, AR aging, Expected cash forecast, Quote funnel, Refunds & disputes, Discount leakage, AR by customer, and Top customers. Every panel is shown by default. |
A couple of related settings are org-wide, not personal — the panel points at them.
The last section of the panel isn't a set of personal defaults — it explains two things that are set once for your whole organization, with a shortcut to where they live:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Display currency | Analytics are always shown in your organization’s base currency, converted at each document’s locked rate. This is a read-only note, not a per-user choice — there is no personal presentation currency to pick. |
| DSO target & dispute-rate thresholds | The org-wide targets that drive the “target” and “warn” markers on the KPI strip. The "Manage in Collections" link opens Settings > Collections, where an admin sets them for everyone. |
Changes save themselves and follow you across devices.
There is no Save button. Every change you make saves the moment you make it, and a brief Saved indicator confirms it (you may see a quick Saving…first). Because the panel and the settings page read and write the same preferences, a change in one shows up in the other right away — and because they are stored on your account rather than in the browser, they follow you to any device you sign in on.
