Turn a closed-won deal into a delivery project that carries the context forward, and read delivery status back on the deal
Start delivery straight from the deal you just won.
When a deal is marked won, a Start delivery action appears on the deal. It opens a short panel where you pick a project template and an optional project name, then creates a delivery project linked to the same company and deal. The point is that the delivery team does not start from scratch: the project arrives carrying the context the deal already holds.
Mark the opportunity as won. The Start delivery affordance becomes available on the deal.
Choose a project template to seed the delivery tasks (or none for a blank project), and optionally name the project. Managing templates is covered in Project Templates.
Laureo creates one delivery project for the deal, linked to the company and the deal, and copies the context across (see below). If the project owner is someone other than you, they are notified that a project has been handed to them.
The delivery project inherits the money, the links, and the files.
Sales can see how delivery is going without leaving the deal.
Once a deal has a delivery project, the deal record shows a live delivery status chip reflecting the project's current stage. Account owners can check whether the work they closed is in progress, on hold, or completed straight from the deal, so a client call never starts with “let me go find out where delivery is.” If the delivery project has been archived, the chip says so rather than disappearing.
