Slash Commands

Power-user shortcuts for the chat input.

How it works

Type / in the chat input to open the autocomplete popover. Use Up/Down to navigate, Tab to insert, Esc to dismiss.

Most commands simply expand into a longer, better prompt, carrying the context that matters: your writing style, the record in front of you, or the ranking and citation rules behind an analytical answer. You can always see what was sent, because the expansion is your message.

Three behave differently. /plan keeps its own prefix on the message, and that prefix is what tells Laureo to write the steps out and wait, instead of guessing from your phrasing whether you wanted a plan./remember and /forget change your saved preferences directly and send nothing to Laureo, because saving a preference is not a question.

What /remember and /forget leave behind

A line in the conversation you can check and reverse, not a message that disappears.

Saving a preference writes one short line into the conversation: "Saved to your preferences." followed by the exact text you saved, quoted back. Removing one says "Removed from your preferences."

Beside it are two controls. Forget this reverses a save, and the same line flips in place to the removal receipt with Undo where Forget was, so pressing back and forth never fills the conversation with your own indecision. Open takes you to the full list of saved preferences. If a reversal fails it says "That did not save. Try again." and stays pressable.
