Customize how the deals table looks and behaves — columns, density, sorting, and default filters
Tune your view from a slide-in panel on the deals table, or from a full settings page.
Deal list settings control how your deals table is presented to you — which columns appear, how dense the rows are, how many records load per page, the order they sort in, and more. They apply to the Table lens of the deals page (the Board and Forecast views keep their own controls). You can reach these settings two ways, and they always show the same values:
Choose which columns appear in the table.
Toggle individual columns on or off to build the view you want. Standard columns such as deal name, company, stage, value, probability, deal type, forecast category, expected close, and owner can each be shown or hidden, and any custom fields configured for deals appear here too. Drag the handle next to a column to reorder it. Hidden columns and your chosen order are remembered so the table looks the same the next time you open it. If a custom field is later removed by your admin, it simply drops out of your column choices automatically.
Set how much vertical space each row takes.
Choose between Comfortable and Compact. Comfortable gives each row a little more breathing room and is easier to scan; compact fits more deals on screen at once, which is handy when you are working through a long pipeline. Pick whichever suits how you read the table.
Control how many deals load on each page.
Set how many records appear before you need to page forward. A smaller page size loads faster and keeps scrolling short; a larger page size lets you see more deals without paging. The pagination controls at the bottom of the table always reflect the page size you choose here.
Pick the order the table opens in.
Choose the field the table is sorted by when it first loads, and whether it sorts ascending or descending. You can sort by created date, name, value, expected close date, stage, or last activity. New deals are shown first by default (created date, newest first). You can still click a column header to re-sort at any time — the default sort just decides where the table starts each time you open it.
Decide which deals the table shows by default.
Set a starting filter that is applied every time you open the deals table — for instance, opening straight to one company, a single deal type, or a particular forecast category. You can always clear or change the filter on the table itself; the default just decides what you see first.
Choose how you are told when a deal is handed to you.
Control the notifications you receive about deals from the settings panel on the table. For each event you can choose whether to be notified in the app, by email, or both. These preferences are part of your overall notification settings — open Manage all notifications from the deal settings page to review every category in one place, including deal stage changes.
Changes save themselves and follow you across devices.
There is no save button. Every change you make autosaves the moment you make it, and a brief saved indicator confirms it. Because the panel and the settings page read and write the same preferences, a change in one shows up in the other immediately — and because they are stored on your account rather than in the browser, they follow you to any device you sign in on.
