Bulk Actions

Select multiple tasks and act on them at once

Selecting Multiple Tasks

Checkboxes and keyboard modifiers.

1

Switch to list view

Bulk selection is available in the list view. In board view, use the right-click menu on individual cards instead.

2

Click row checkboxes

Click the checkbox at the start of each row you want to include. The header checkbox selects every task currently visible (respecting filters).

3

Range-select with Shift

Click the first row's checkbox, then Shift + click another to select everything in between.

4

Toggle individual tasks with Cmd/Ctrl

Cmd (macOS) or Ctrl (Windows/Linux) + click toggles a single task in or out of the selection without affecting the rest.

The Bulk Action Bar

Appears at the bottom of the screen when one or more tasks are selected.

The action bar shows the selection count and buttons for each bulk operation. PressEsc to clear the selection and hide the bar.

Available Actions

Every bulk operation currently supported.

  • Bulk assign — Change the assignee for every selected task to one team member.
  • Bulk priority — Set Low / Medium / High / Urgent for the whole selection.
  • Bulk status — Move tasks to To Do, In Progress, or Done.
  • Bulk tag — Add or remove a tag across the selection. Removing a tag only affects tasks that have it.
  • Bulk delete — Permanently delete all selected tasks (with undo).

Undo

Five-second safety net on destructive actions.

After a bulk delete or bulk status change, a toast appears with an Undo button for 5 seconds. Clicking undo restores every affected task to its previous state (including calendar sync status if relevant). After the toast dismisses, the change is permanent.

Bulk delete is permanent after undo expires
Once the 5-second undo window closes, deleted tasks cannot be recovered. If the tasks were synced to a calendar, their events are removed as well.

Selection Limits

Practical caps to protect performance.

Bulk actions accept up to 1,000 tasks per operation. If you select more, the action bar prompts you to filter first or split the action into batches. This matches the CRM-wide cap on bulk operations.
