On-hand, allocated, and available stock; reorder points; and stock adjustments
The three numbers that describe your stock.
Stock is tracked per product (or variant) per location, so a unit in your main warehouse and a unit in a regional one are counted separately. The available figure is the one to watch when promising delivery.
Get told before you run out.
Set a reorder point on a stock line and Laureo notifies you the moment available stock crosses it — event-driven, not a daily poll, so you hear about it as it happens. A reorder quantity suggests how much to buy back. You can also drive an automation from a low-stock condition (for example, draft a purchase order automatically).
Correct counts after a stocktake or damage.
When a physical count disagrees with the system — breakage, shrinkage, a miscount — record a stock adjustment. Every adjustment is a logged movement with a note, so the ledger always explains why a count changed.
