Looking for an Intercom CRM?
Intercom is a customer service platform, not a sales CRM: it charges per seat, plus usage for Fin outcomes and email campaigns, and it lists no pipeline, quotes or invoices. Laureo is the CRM, with live chat, tickets and a help center built in on Business and Ultra.
What does Intercom do?
Intercom is a customer service platform: every plan includes a Messenger for live chat, a shared inbox and ticketing system, and a public help center, with the Fin AI Agent answering customers. You pay per seat, from $29 a month billed annually on Essential ($19 for new customers), plus usage such as $0.99 for each Fin outcome.
Does Intercom have a CRM?
Not a sales CRM: Intercom's pricing page lists support features such as the inbox, tickets, the help center and Fin, and no sales pipeline, deals, quotes or invoices, and Intercom offers Fin for use with a current helpdesk such as Salesforce. Laureo is a CRM first, with live chat, tickets and a help center added on Business and Ultra, so a chat opens a ticket in the same CRM as your deals.
Intercom does keep contact and company records for support, and it exports users, leads and company data as a CSV file. Laureo reads that export, maps the columns and brings contacts and companies into the CRM.
How much does Intercom cost for a small team?
Intercom charges per seat, $29 on Essential ($19 for new customers), $85 on Advanced and $132 on Expert a month billed annually, and adds usage: $0.99 per Fin outcome, plus bulk email campaigns, SMS, WhatsApp and phone. Laureo includes email campaigns on every plan and live chat and tickets on Business and Ultra, and on Ultra its resolution agent drafts and resolves tickets under your control, included with fair-use limits and no fee per outcome.

Why Laureo wins against Intercom
- One plan and one bill cover your CRM, inbox, email campaigns, booking pages, and quotes and invoices, so you stop paying for separate tools.
- Email campaigns are built in on every plan, with unlimited contacts on all plans.
- Every plan includes monthly AI credits for the assistant, the agents and email drafting.
- Business and Ultra include a second full seat in the plan price, and no plan has a seat minimum.
- The AI never trains on your data, and every AI request goes only to providers that keep none of it.

Why teams move from Intercom to Laureo
- A CRM with chat, not chat beside a CRMLaureo is the CRM, and live chat, tickets and the help center arrive inside it on Business and Ultra. Intercom is a customer service platform, and its pricing page lists no sales pipeline, deals, quotes or invoices.
- No per-outcome AI billOn Ultra, the resolution agent drafts support replies for your approval and is included with fair-use limits, with no fee per outcome. Intercom charges $0.99 per Fin outcome and sells Copilot at $29 per agent a month billed annually.
- Campaigns in the planEmail campaigns go out on every plan, with unlimited contacts on all plans. Intercom charges email campaigns per bulk email sent, on top of seats.
- SLA targets without the top tierBusiness and Ultra set response and resolution targets per priority. Intercom lists service level agreements on Expert, its top self-serve plan.
- Your data never trains the AILaureo's AI never trains on your data. Intercom's terms grant it the right to use Customer Data for Intercom AI model training.
Intercom's AI, and Laureo's agent roster
Intercom builds around the Fin AI Agent at $0.99 per outcome, sells Copilot at $29 per agent a month billed annually past 10 free conversations per agent, and meters its Operator agent in credits through the $100 a month Pro add-on; Laureo includes monthly AI credits on every plan, and on Ultra its resolution agent drafts support replies for a person to approve by default.
Laureo runs named agents instead. They work in the background and share one pool of monthly AI credits with no per-conversation fees. By default, every agent except Ticket Triage asks before it changes anything, and each comes with every plan; Ticket Triage comes with Ultra.
- Lead Router reads each new form lead, drafts a first reply and proposes an owner and a follow-up task.
- Deal Follow-Up flags deals that have gone quiet and drafts the next follow-up.
- Duplicate Guard checks each new company for a duplicate and proposes the merge.
- Quote Follow-Up drafts a follow-up when a client opens a quote without accepting it.
- Inbox Clerk turns email from your contacts into CRM work, such as a task, a ticket or a deal link.
- Ticket Triage sorts each new customer ticket and finds the matching help article, on the Ultra plan.
Your data stays yours. Every record is isolated to your workspace, and the AI never trains on or keeps your data.
