Laureo vs Front
Front is a shared inbox for customer teams, priced per seat, and on Professional and Enterprise it syncs accounts and contacts from Salesforce or HubSpot, and accounts from Microsoft Dynamics 365. Laureo starts from the CRM and adds a support queue, a knowledge base and website chat to it on Business and Ultra.
What is Front used for?
Front is used by customer teams to share email and support requests: every plan includes shared inboxes, ticketing and a public knowledge base, and Professional adds several channels in one inbox, ticket SLAs and the customer portal. Front prices each seat, from $25 a month billed annually on Starter for up to 10 seats.
Starter supports one channel type, email, chat or SMS, so a team that answers email and website chat together starts on Professional at $65 a seat a month billed annually.
Is Front a CRM?
Not a sales CRM: Front keeps contacts and accounts with their conversation history, and on Professional and Enterprise it syncs accounts and contacts from Salesforce or HubSpot, and accounts from Microsoft Dynamics 365, while its pricing page lists no pipeline, deals, quotes or invoices. Laureo begins with the CRM, so on Business and Ultra the support queue runs in the same CRM as the contacts, companies and deals.
On Business and Ultra a Laureo ticket can turn into a new linked deal or task from the queue, and a deal made that way sends its quote and invoice like any other deal.
| Customer data | Front | Laureo |
|---|---|---|
| Contacts and accounts | Every plan | Every plan, unlimited contacts on all plans |
| Sync from another CRM | Salesforce, HubSpot or Dynamics 365 on Professional and Enterprise | Nothing to sync: one CRM |
| Pipeline, quotes, invoices | Not on its pricing page | Every plan |
Does Front charge for AI?
Yes: Copilot, the assistant that drafts replies for agents, is $20 per seat a month on Starter and Professional and included on Enterprise, and Autopilot, the AI agent, is an add-on on every plan from $0.05 per conversation. Each Laureo plan comes with a monthly allowance of AI credits, and Laureo's AI never trains on your data.
Front also says it may use your data to further train your model, kept apart from other companies' data.
Why Laureo wins against Front
- One plan and one bill cover your CRM, inbox, email campaigns, booking pages, and quotes and invoices, so you stop paying for separate tools.
- Email campaigns are built in on every plan, with unlimited contacts on all plans.
- Every plan includes monthly AI credits for the assistant, the agents and email drafting.
- The AI never trains on your data, and every AI request goes only to providers that keep none of it.
- Business and Ultra include a second full seat in the plan price, and no plan has a seat minimum.

Why teams move from Front to Laureo
- The CRM, not a CRM syncLaureo keeps tickets, deals and email in one CRM, with nothing to sync. On Professional and Enterprise, Front syncs accounts and contacts from Salesforce or HubSpot, and accounts from Dynamics 365.
- Sales tools in the planPipeline, campaigns, booking pages, quotes and invoices are part of every plan. Front's pricing page lists no pipeline, campaigns, quotes or invoices.
- Email and chat on one planBusiness and Ultra put email, portal and website chat tickets in one queue. Front Starter supports a single channel type.
- AI without a meterA monthly pool of AI credits comes with each plan. Front sells Copilot at $20 a seat a month and Autopilot from $0.05 per conversation.
- Your data never trains the AINothing your team stores in Laureo trains its AI. Front says it may use your data to further train your model.
Front's AI, and Laureo's agent roster
Front sells Copilot at $20 per seat a month on Starter and Professional (included on Enterprise) and its Autopilot AI agent from $0.05 per conversation, and says it may use your data to further train your model; with Laureo, AI credits come with every plan each month, nothing it sees trains a model, and the Ultra resolution agent holds each support reply for a person to approve unless you change that.
Laureo runs named agents instead. They work in the background and share one pool of monthly AI credits with no per-conversation fees. By default, every agent except Ticket Triage asks before it changes anything, and each comes with every plan; Ticket Triage comes with Ultra.
- Lead Router reads each new form lead, drafts a first reply and proposes an owner and a follow-up task.
- Deal Follow-Up flags deals that have gone quiet and drafts the next follow-up.
- Duplicate Guard checks each new company for a duplicate and proposes the merge.
- Quote Follow-Up drafts a follow-up when a client opens a quote without accepting it.
- Inbox Clerk turns email from your contacts into CRM work, such as a task, a ticket or a deal link.
- Ticket Triage sorts each new customer ticket and finds the matching help article, on the Ultra plan.
Your data stays yours. Every record is isolated to your workspace, and the AI never trains on or keeps your data.
