Zapier alternative

Building a Zapier CRM?

Zapier connects the apps a team already pays for, and every successful action a Zap takes uses a task. Its Sales CRM is a template you build from Zapier Tables and workflows. Laureo is the CRM itself, with automation, campaigns, booking pages and invoices built in, so there are fewer Zaps to build and pay for.

Verified October 2026As of October 30, 2026, Zapier's Sales CRM is a template built on Zapier Tables, Interfaces and workflows (zapier.com/templates).

Does Zapier have a CRM?

Zapier has a Sales CRM template, not a CRM product: the template sets up Zapier Tables, Interfaces and workflows with tables for deals, activities and leads and six automated workflows, and you build the rest. Laureo is a CRM with contacts, companies, deals, the pipeline and automation ready on every plan.

The template keeps its records in Zapier Tables, which hold 2,500 records on Free, 100,000 on Professional and 500,000 on Team, and logging a lead's email as an activity takes another workflow that connects Gmail. Laureo syncs Gmail and Outlook both ways on every plan, with unlimited contacts on all plans.

What does a Zapier CRM cost?

Zapier Professional starts from $19.99 a month on the yearly view for one user, and Team from $69, and every successful action in a Zap uses a task, with pay-per-task billing at a higher rate once the plan limit is reached. Agents are a separate plan, with Agents Pro at $33.33 a month billed annually.

A CRM built on Zapier also needs the email, booking and billing apps it connects, each bought on its own. Here is each cost line beside the Laureo plan:

Do you need Zapier with HubSpot?

Zapier's HubSpot integrations page offers workflows that join HubSpot to the tools around it, such as adding new HubSpot contacts to Mailchimp lists or creating a HubSpot contact for each new Tally form response, and every action those Zaps take uses a task. In Laureo the campaign, the form and the booking page are part of the CRM, so those HubSpot Zapier workflows have nothing to connect.

For the tools a team keeps, Laureo sends outgoing webhooks and has an API on Business and Ultra, and its own automation rules carry no per-run fee.

The verdict

Why Laureo wins against Zapier

  • One plan and one bill cover your CRM, inbox, email campaigns, booking pages, and quotes and invoices, so you stop paying for separate tools.
  • Automation rules and non-AI workflow steps never spend AI credits, and workflow runs carry no per-run fee; only AI steps use credits.
  • Every plan includes monthly AI credits for the assistant, the agents and email drafting.
  • Unlimited contacts and companies on every plan, with no contact tiers to outgrow.
  • Two-way email and calendar sync with both Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 on every plan.

What is included, side by side

A check means it is on a plan; the note under a feature names the plan when only a higher plan has it. “Add-on” means a paid add-on, bought separately. “Coming soon” means it is announced but not available yet. A line means it is not available.

Why teams switch

Why teams move from Zapier to Laureo

  • A CRM, not a templateContacts, deals, the pipeline and automation are ready on every plan. Zapier's Sales CRM is a template you build on in Zapier Tables, Interfaces and workflows.
  • No per-run feeAutomation rules and non-AI workflow steps never spend AI credits, and runs carry no fee. Each successful Zapier action uses a task.
  • Fewer apps to joinCampaigns, forms, booking pages, quotes and invoices are built in, so there is nothing to connect between them. Zapier's HubSpot workflows join HubSpot to tools such as Mailchimp and Tally.
  • Email logged on its ownGmail and Outlook sync both ways on every plan, so an email to or from a contact's address links to that contact and their company with no workflow to build.
  • No record capUnlimited contacts on all plans. Zapier Tables caps records at 100,000 on Professional and 500,000 on Team.
AI agents

Zapier's AI, and Laureo's agent roster

Zapier's AI

Zapier bills AI steps in tasks like any other step, lets the AI option change how many tasks an action uses, and sells Agents as a separate plan metered in activities; Laureo includes monthly AI credits on every plan for the assistant, the agents and email drafting.

Laureo runs named agents instead. They work in the background and share one pool of monthly AI credits with no per-conversation fees. By default, every agent except Ticket Triage asks before it changes anything, and each comes with every plan; Ticket Triage comes with Ultra.

  • Lead Router reads each new form lead, drafts a first reply and proposes an owner and a follow-up task.
  • Deal Follow-Up flags deals that have gone quiet and drafts the next follow-up.
  • Duplicate Guard checks each new company for a duplicate and proposes the merge.
  • Quote Follow-Up drafts a follow-up when a client opens a quote without accepting it.
  • Inbox Clerk turns email from your contacts into CRM work, such as a task, a ticket or a deal link.
  • Ticket Triage sorts each new customer ticket and finds the matching help article, on the Ultra plan.
