Contact Management

Contact management software with unlimited contacts on all plans.

Keep each person and company on its own record with the whole history: emails, meetings and notes on both, deals on the company, and support tickets on Business and Ultra. Laureo checks for duplicates as you type, merges the ones that slip through, and finds the people you email in Gmail or Outlook so you choose who becomes a contact.

Unlimited contacts and companies on all plans. Pro from $83.33/mo billed annually ($99.99 month-to-month).

What is contact management software?

Contact management software stores the people and companies you work with, along with their details and the history of every email, meeting, note and deal, so anyone on the team can pick up a relationship. In Laureo sales, support and billing work from the same contacts in one CRM, with unlimited contacts on all plans.

What is the difference between a CRM and contact management software?

Contact management software is the address book with its history, while a CRM adds the work you do with those contacts, such as deals in a pipeline, follow-ups, quotes and support. Laureo includes both, so the deals, invoices and tickets for each contact sit in the same CRM instead of a separate tool.

How do you keep a contact list free of duplicates?

Check for duplicates when a record is created, decide on likely matches during every import, and merge the pairs that still slip through. Laureo does all three, and a merge moves the activities and opportunities of the duplicate onto the record you keep.

WhenWhat Laureo does
Creating a companyChecks the name for close spellings, and the email and account number for exact matches, as you type
Importing a fileShows both records for each likely match and waits for your answer
After the factPuts a likely pair in My Work, and its Review action opens the merge with both records seated
MergingFrom Admin, you pick the record to keep and choose each field from either side
The record

Every person and company, with the whole history

A person record brings the contact details, email engagement, the activity history, the company and a change log into one view, and most fields edit inline. A company record lists its people, with one marked as the primary contact. Read more on what a CRM contact is.

  • The timelineEmails, meetings, notes and tasks on the record, in order.
  • An owner and a stageEach contact has an owner on your team, a lifecycle stage and its tags in the header.
  • Watch a recordSubscribe to a contact and get notified when it changes.
  • Mail from the recordSend Email opens the composer with the address filled in, and the reply lands back on the timeline.

The same record feeds the Smart Inbox, so an email thread reads beside the person who sent it.

No contact caps

Unlimited contacts and companies on all plans

Your list can grow without a plan change. Contacts and companies are unlimited on Pro, Business and Ultra, so a growing list never pushes you up a tier. Many CRMs cap the list by plan instead.

  • CopperBasic is capped at 2,500 contacts and Professional at 15,000. Unlimited contacts need Business, at $134 per seat a month or $99 paid annually.
  • monday CRMBasic is capped at 1,000 active contacts and deals, Standard at 10,000 and Pro at 100,000. Unlimited comes only with Ultimate, which has no public price.
  • CapsuleStarter is capped at 30,000 contacts.
  • HubSpotA free account holds 1,000 contacts.
  • Rival plan limits as published on each vendor's pricing page, checked October 28, 2026.

Duplicates

Catch duplicates as you type, and merge the ones that slip through

Type three characters of a new company and Laureo looks for one you already have: close spellings of the name, and exact matches on the email and account number. A warning links the existing record, and you choose whether to carry on.

  • A review queueA likely pair found when someone adds a person or a company waits in My Work for review.
  • Field by fieldFrom Admin, pick the record to keep, then choose each field from either side before anything is written.
  • The history travelsThe activities and opportunities of the duplicate move onto the record you keep.
From your inbox

The people you email, ready to become contacts

Connect Gmail or Outlook in setup, and Laureo reads the headers of your recent mail to find the people you write back and forth with. Each one waits in a review list, and only the people you approve become contacts.

  • Gmail or OutlookGoogle Workspace and Microsoft 365 work the same way, with the access you already gave for mail.
  • Headers, not messagesLaureo looks at who you email and how often, never at what you wrote.
  • You approve each oneThe people in active conversations are selected for you, and nothing reaches your contact list until you approve it.

See how it works in the inbox connection guide, or read about the Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 integrations.

Organize

Segments, views and fields that fit how you sell

A long list is only useful when you can cut it. Group contacts, save the filters you use every day, and add the fields your process needs.

  • Contact groupsNamed collections for a campaign, a team or a report, and one contact can sit in several.
  • Saved viewsName a set of filters and columns, switch in one click, and share it with the team.
  • Lifecycle stages and tagsSee where each contact stands and filter the list on it.
  • Custom fields5 per object on Pro, 10 on Business and 30 on Ultra.
  • Do Not ContactOne flag disables Send Email on the record, and email campaigns skip the contact.
Deals

Deal tracking software in the same CRM

A contact list is where deals start, so a deal links to its contacts and is listed on their company's record, not in a second app. Move it across a pipeline board, and the company record lists it at every stage, and still after it is won or lost.

Import

Move your list in without the cleanup weekend

Bring contacts in from a spreadsheet, or from an export of 69 systems across CRMs, help desks, accounting, recruiting, bookkeeping practice tools, field service, professional services, client work and public registers, with the columns matched for you. When a row looks like a record you already have, the import shows you both and waits for your answer, and you choose what it compares on for the whole run.

  • Rows each month5,000 on Pro, 25,000 on Business and 100,000 on Ultra.
  • Nothing merged silentlyNo row is merged or skipped until you pick an answer.
  • Guides by sourceStep-by-step moves from the CRM you use now.
