Switch from Pipedrive to Laureo

Import your people, organizations, deals, activities, and products with a CSV importer built for Pipedrive exports. Then meet an AI that drafts the follow-up and updates the record instead of just pinging you about it.

Why teams switch from Pipedrive

The AI suggests, but you still do the work

In Laureo

Pipedrive’s AI Sales Assistant sends notifications. Laureo’s AI drafts the follow-up, updates the record, and queues the task for your approval. The action arrives ready to send, not as a nudge to go do it yourself.

Email and marketing live in separate tools

In Laureo

Laureo includes email campaigns, drip sequences, and marketing automation in every paid plan, so the outreach lives next to the deal instead of in a bolt-on platform.

Support and ticketing are somewhere else entirely

In Laureo

Laureo has a built-in help desk with tickets, SLA tracking, and a public help center. Sales and support read from the same customer record.

Reporting needs a third-party BI tool

In Laureo

Pipeline analytics, revenue forecasts, activity reports, and leaderboards are built in. The numbers update from the same data your reps work in.

Migration steps

1

Export your data from Pipedrive

In Pipedrive, open the People, Organizations, Deals, and Products list views and use the export button on each to download a CSV. For activities, export from the Activities tab. Pipedrive also offers a full account export under Settings > Backups & exports.

2

Review the CSV files

Pipedrive exports are generally clean. Open each file and confirm the column headers match what you expect. You can leave Pipedrive’s headers as-is, because the Laureo importer recognizes the standard Pipedrive layout (Organization, Label, Owner, and so on) and maps them for you.

3

Create your Laureo account

Sign up at app.laureo.io, name your organization, and invite your team. Map Pipedrive seats to Laureo roles such as Admin, Sales Manager, and Sales Rep.

4

Import people, organizations, and products

In Settings > Import, upload your People CSV as contacts, your Organizations CSV as companies, and your Products CSV. The importer auto-maps recognized columns and runs duplicate detection before writing any records.

5

Import deals and shape your pipeline

Recreate your Pipedrive pipeline stages in Laureo, or simplify them while you’re here. Import your Deals CSV and map the stage column. Deal values, expected close dates, and owners come across in the same import.

6

Connect your email and calendar

Link Gmail or Outlook in Settings > Integrations for two-way email sync, automatic contact matching, and calendar sync. This is a live mailbox connection, so your ongoing email history syncs automatically rather than importing as a one-time file.

7

Verify and go live

Compare record counts against your Pipedrive export, then open five to ten records and confirm field values and notes look right. Once you’re satisfied, point your team at Laureo and wind Pipedrive down.

What comes across

Three paths in: a direct CSV import, a live mailbox sync, or a quick rebuild in Laureo. Here is where each piece of your Pipedrive account lands.

  • People (contacts)
CSV importName split into first/last, phone, email, organization, owner.
  • Organizations (companies)
CSV importName, address, owner; the Label column becomes the company type.
  • Deals
CSV importTitle, value, currency, stage, expected close date, lost reason.
  • Pipeline stages
Recreate in LaureoRebuilt once in Laureo, then deals map onto them at import.
  • Activities (calls, meetings, tasks)
CSV importSubject, type, due date, and notes; linked to person, company, or deal.
  • Products
CSV importName, code, unit price, tax, and active status.
  • Email history
Live syncConnect Gmail or Outlook; mail syncs live and matches to contacts, rather than importing as a CSV.
  • Custom fields
Recreate in LaureoDefine matching fields in Laureo first, or keep syncing them through a connected source. Not part of the CSV import.
  • Notes
Recreate in LaureoActivity notes import with their activity; standalone notes are recreated or synced, not part of the CSV import.
  • Labels
Recreate in LaureoCompany Labels import as the company type. Person Labels are not imported, so recreate them as tags in Laureo.
  • Automations
Recreate in LaureoRebuilt in Laureo’s visual workflow builder; most are quick stage-change triggers.
  • Web forms
Recreate in LaureoRebuilt with Laureo forms; no CSV import path.

Pipedrive migration FAQ

Most Pipedrive teams finish in one to two hours. Pipedrive exports are clean and the importer recognizes the standard Pipedrive column layout, so the upload-and-map step is quick.
People, organizations, deals, activities, and products import directly from CSV. Email and calendar arrive through a live Gmail or Outlook connection rather than a file. Custom fields, standalone notes, automations, and web forms are recreated in Laureo. Keep your Pipedrive account active for a few weeks as a reference while you settle in.
Company Labels (the label on an Organization) import as the company type in Laureo. Person Labels, the hot / warm / cold style tags on a contact, are not imported; the importer has no field for them, so recreate the ones you rely on as Laureo tags after the import. In short: a company’s label becomes its type, and people’s labels do not carry over.
Automations are not part of the CSV import. Laureo has a visual workflow builder where you rebuild them, and most Pipedrive automations are simple stage-change triggers that take only a few minutes to recreate.
Pipedrive’s AI Sales Assistant surfaces suggestions and notifications. Laureo’s AI drafts the follow-up email, updates the record, and queues the task, then waits for your approval before anything goes out. You ask it directly, the way you’d ask any assistant: “Hey Laureo, draft a check-in to every deal that went quiet this week.”
Yes. Business-plan teams get a dedicated onboarding session, and every plan has access to the Laureo help center and email support for migration questions.
