Switch from Pipedrive to Laureo
Import your people, organizations, deals, activities, and products with a CSV importer built for Pipedrive exports. Then meet an AI that drafts the follow-up and updates the record instead of just pinging you about it.
Why teams switch from Pipedrive
The AI suggests, but you still do the work
In Laureo
Pipedrive’s AI Sales Assistant sends notifications. Laureo’s AI drafts the follow-up, updates the record, and queues the task for your approval. The action arrives ready to send, not as a nudge to go do it yourself.
Email and marketing live in separate tools
In Laureo
Laureo includes email campaigns, drip sequences, and marketing automation in every paid plan, so the outreach lives next to the deal instead of in a bolt-on platform.
Support and ticketing are somewhere else entirely
In Laureo
Laureo has a built-in help desk with tickets, SLA tracking, and a public help center. Sales and support read from the same customer record.
Reporting needs a third-party BI tool
In Laureo
Pipeline analytics, revenue forecasts, activity reports, and leaderboards are built in. The numbers update from the same data your reps work in.
Migration steps
Export your data from Pipedrive
In Pipedrive, open the People, Organizations, Deals, and Products list views and use the export button on each to download a CSV. For activities, export from the Activities tab. Pipedrive also offers a full account export under Settings > Backups & exports.
Review the CSV files
Pipedrive exports are generally clean. Open each file and confirm the column headings are what you expect. Leave Pipedrive’s own headings alone: we read both shapes a Pipedrive export writes, the bare Organization column and the prefixed Organization heading, so there is nothing to rename by hand.
Create your Laureo account
Sign up at app.laureo.io, name your organization, and invite your team. Map Pipedrive seats to Laureo roles such as Admin, Sales Manager, and Sales Rep.
Import people, organizations, and products
In Laureo, open Admin, then Import. Send your People file as contacts, your Organizations file as companies, and your Products file. We read every row first and tell you what we found: a count per record type, any column we could not place, and every pair where two records might be one thing. Nothing is written until you press the button.
Import deals and shape your pipeline
Send your stages as their own file, or build them here and simplify them while you’re at it. Then send your Deals file and tell us which Laureo stage each of your stage names answers to. Values, expected close dates, and owners come across in the same run.
Connect your email and calendar
Link Gmail or Outlook in Settings > Integrations for two-way email sync, automatic contact matching, and calendar sync. This is a live mailbox connection, so your ongoing email history syncs automatically rather than importing as a one-time file.
Verify and go live
Compare record counts against your Pipedrive export, then open five to ten records and confirm field values and notes look right. Once you’re satisfied, point your team at Laureo and wind Pipedrive down.
What comes across
Five things come straight out of a Pipedrive export. Your stages, your labels and your custom fields come across too, in files of their own. One arrives over a connected mailbox, and the rest you build here. Every row below is answered by the product, not by this page.
- People (contacts)From your exportName split into first and last, phone, email, organization, owner.
- Organizations (companies)From your exportName, address, owner, and the Label column becomes the company type.
- DealsFrom your exportTitle, value, currency, stage, expected close date, lost reason.
- Activities (calls, meetings, tasks)From your exportSubject, type, due date and notes, beside the person, company or deal they belong to.
- ProductsFrom your exportName, code, unit price, tax, and whether it is still active.
- Pipeline stagesIts own fileSend a list of your stages, or build them once here and point your deals at them.
- LabelsIts own fileA company Label arrives as the company type. A person Label lands as a tag on the contact when your export writes it under the Person - Label heading, which is the shape a real Pipedrive export uses. A file with a bare Label column on the people sheet is not read, so send those as a list of their own and we make them.
- Custom fieldsIts own fileSend a list of your fields and we make them, or build the ones you need here first. Either way the matching columns land in them.
- Email historyLive connectionConnect Gmail or Outlook. Mail matches to contacts by address from the moment you connect.
- NotesBuild it in LaureoA note attached to an activity comes across with it. A note attached to nothing has nowhere to land, so copy the few that matter.
- AutomationsBuild it in LaureoRebuild them in the visual workflow builder. Most are a stage change and a minute each.
- Web formsBuild it in LaureoRebuild them as Laureo forms.
One file can hold up to 10,000 rows. One file can be up to 10 megabytes. You can undo a move for 30 days after it finishes. You can undo a single file import for 24 hours after it finishes.
What is not coming across.
- A bare Label column on a people sheet is not read. A Pipedrive export writes the person label under Person - Label, which we do read and land as a tag; send anything under the bare heading as a list of its own and we make them.
- Past email does not come across in a file. Connect Gmail or Outlook and we match mail to people by address from the moment you connect.
- A note attached to nothing has nowhere to land. A note on an activity comes across with it.
- A custom field has to exist here before a column can land in it, so make the ones you need first.
- Photos and files come over on their own. One move brings over 2 GB and 500 files.
