Migrate from Salesforce

Leave the admin tax behind

Salesforce gives you a platform to build on, then asks for a certified admin, a paid implementation, and an AI add-on on top. Laureo ships five AI agents on day one, with the AI part of every seat. Import your accounts, contacts, opportunities, activities, and tasks this afternoon.

Why teams switch from Salesforce

On Salesforce

Agentforce is a platform you build on

With Laureo

Laureo ships five named agents on day one that flag deals gone quiet, clean duplicates, chase overdue invoices, draft your inbox replies, and write your morning brief. You are not prompting a blank agent builder, and the AI is part of your seat, not a separate product to assemble.

On Salesforce

You need a certified admin and a paid implementation

With Laureo

Your team sets Laureo up the same afternoon. Settings, custom fields, pipelines, and roles are all configurable through the UI, with no certified admin to hire and no multi-month partner engagement to schedule.

On Salesforce

AI arrives as an add-on license or per-action credits

With Laureo

A monthly AI budget is included on every plan with no per-action fees, so you watch one usage bar instead of forecasting a meter. Agentforce bills three ways from the start, by per-user license, Flex Credits, or per conversation.

On Salesforce

Capabilities stack as separate clouds on the base license

With Laureo

One subscription covers pipeline, email, sequences, scheduler, tickets, and invoicing. Salesforce layers Inbox, Sales Engagement, Marketing Cloud, Revenue Cloud, and Service Cloud on top of the seat.

What the move actually involves

A typical Salesforce rollout runs three to six months and usually a full-time certified admin, and Agentforce now sells three ways on top of the base license: a per-user license, Flex Credits, or per conversation. The Laureo path is different in kind. You import the five Salesforce record types this afternoon, recreate your pipelines and fields in the UI, connect your inbox, and let the included agents start working the same day.

Migration steps

Export your data from Salesforce

Use Salesforce Data Loader or the built-in Data Export service (Setup > Data Export) to download Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Activities, and Tasks as CSV files. These are the five record types Laureo imports directly from a Salesforce export.

Prepare your CSV files

Salesforce exports include internal IDs and formula fields. Remove formula columns and make sure email addresses are clean and deduplicated. The Laureo importer reads Salesforce headers (Account Name, Opportunity Name, Close Date, and so on) so you do not have to rename columns by hand.

Create your Laureo account

Sign up at app.laureo.io. Configure your organization, invite team members, and set up roles. If you used Salesforce profiles, map them to Laureo roles such as Sales Manager, Sales Rep, and Marketing.

Import accounts, contacts, opportunities, activities, and tasks

In Laureo, open Admin, then Import. Tell us the files came from Salesforce and we read the Salesforce headings, so an Account arrives as a company and an Opportunity as a deal. Before anything is written you get a count per record type, the columns we could not place, and every pair where two records might be one thing.

Recreate pipelines and any custom fields

Send your stages as their own file, or build them here to mirror your Salesforce ones, then tell us which Laureo stage each Stage Name answers to so values and close dates land in the right place. Make the custom fields your team relies on in Settings first, and the matching Salesforce columns land in them.

Connect your email and calendar to sync going forward

Link Gmail or Outlook in Settings > Integrations. Laureo syncs your inbox, sent mail, and calendar events, and auto-matches messages to contacts by address. This is a live two-way sync of your email and calendar, not a one-time CSV import of historical Salesforce activity records.

Verify and go live

Compare record counts between Salesforce and Laureo. Spot-check five to ten records across accounts, contacts, and deals. Run a test workflow, send a test email, then cut over your team. We recommend keeping your Salesforce org active for a short window as a safety net.

What moves over, and how

Five record types come straight out of a Salesforce export. Your stages, your quotes and your custom fields come across too, in files of their own. Your email and calendar arrive over a connected mailbox, and three more things you build here.

  • Accounts (Companies)
From your exportNames, addresses, owners and the columns you added.
  • Contacts (People)
From your exportNames, addresses, the account they sit under and their owner.
  • Opportunities (Deals)
From your exportValues, close dates and the stage each one sits in.
  • Activities
From your exportCalls, meetings and the notes attached to them.
  • Tasks
From your exportSubjects, due dates, owners and status.
  • Pipeline stages
Its own fileSend a list of your stages, or build them once here and point your deals at them.
  • Quotes
Its own fileExport them and send them across, or start fresh on a Laureo template.
  • Custom fields
Its own fileSend a list of your fields and we make them, or build the ones you need in Settings first. Either way the matching Salesforce columns land in them.
  • Email and calendar
Live connectionConnect Gmail or Outlook. Mail and meetings match to records by address from the moment you connect.
  • Reports and dashboards
Build it in LaureoRebuild your top few in the built-in analytics. Most take under an hour.
  • Apex triggers and custom code
Build it in LaureoRebuild the logic as Laureo automations where it applies.
  • Flows and Process Builder
Build it in LaureoRebuild as Laureo automations.

One file can hold up to 10,000 rows. One file can be up to 10 megabytes. You can undo a move for 30 days after it finishes. You can undo a single file import for 24 hours after it finishes.

What is not coming across.

  • Past email and past calendar entries do not come across in a file. Connect Gmail or Outlook and we match them to people by address from the moment you connect.
  • Report and dashboard definitions do not come across. Rebuild your top few in the built in analytics.
  • Flows, Process Builder and Apex do not come across. Rebuild the logic as automations where it still applies.
  • A custom field has to exist here before a Salesforce column can land in it, so make the ones you need first. A standalone custom object with its own web of links does not come across whole.
  • Photos and files come over on their own. One move brings over 2 GB and 500 files.
